This week Mardi Gras confirmed the full line-up of international and local stars coming together under one roof for the official Mardi Gras Party.
Joining an already stacked lineup of artists and DJs is Australian Soul Sensation and Diversity Advocate, Luke Antony.
"Sydney Mardi Gras is one of those unforgettable parties! It's such a celebration of love and I am honoured to be performing this year!", Luke Said.
The announcement follows hot on the heels of an amazing 2016 where Luke Antony released two singles and headlined a number of shows on the international circuit.
Luke’s debut single Separate Ways was the 2016 theme song for the prestigious Munich Pride festival (CSD), receiving media attention in multiple countries around the world.
His second single the Cyndi Lauper classic True Colors was released to a overwhelming response. The emotive video clip features Madeline Stuart, the Australian supermodel with Down syndrome, who is taking the world by storm.
Joining Luke on the Mardi Gras line up is SGLMG 2017 theme song singer Nat Conway, "All American Boy” Steve Grant and the architect of anthems Peyton, who is taking a break from his Ibiza and London based gigs to rock the Party.
These party powerhouses will take to the stage in between epic DJ sets by the biggest international and local names including: Sylvin Wood (FR), Joelby (UK), High Low (FR), Anhy (FR) and local favourites Kate Monroe, DJ Tiny, Rob Davis and THE SWEATS
The Mardi Gras Party already has a stellar line up of acts featuring The Veronicas, Tegan and Sara, Dan Murphy, Corey Craig, Citizen Jane, Oxford Hustlers, JimJam and DJ Mickey.
The Official Mardi Gras Party is the hottest ticket of the year, every year. A glittery celebration, The Party is the largest LGBTQI party in the Southern Hemisphere.
Luke is currently performing around New South Wales on his Separate Ways Unplugged Tour with new dates added. He will release new music in March before returning to Europe and Asia for a series of commitments.
